The Arts Council’s Film Archive + the LRC

Just in case you didn’t catch the announcement, Dawn Fitzgerald of the LRC posted a notice on the LRC web page a couple of weeks ago.

The Arts Council’s film collection, which chronicles over 50 years of British art, has been made available in digital form to the academic community.

The film collection “offers on-line access to a large range of films on art produced in the United Kingdom since the 1950s, and is a unique record of British and international post-war art, as well as of documentary film-making in the UK”.

This thoroughly researched page of the Ravensbourne intranet contains some fantastic research leads.
